TERMS & CONDITIONS

​These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website and the booking of services provided by Olijvenkraal (Pty) Ltd (“Olijvenkraal”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing our website, making a reservation, or attending our premises, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

USE OF WEBSITE

  • The content of this website is for general information only and may change without notice.

  • All intellectual property rights, including text, images, branding, and design, remain the property of Olijvenkraal.

  • Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages or criminal offence.

 

RESERVATIONS & BOOKINGS

  • Reservations for accommodation, restaurant dining, wine tastings, and events are subject to availability.

  • A booking is only confirmed once a deposit or full payment (as applicable) has been received.

  • Guests must provide accurate information during the booking process.

 

PRICING & PAYMENTS

  • All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

  • We accept payments via [credit card, EFT, etc.].

  • Non-payment of deposits or balances may result in cancellation of a booking.

 

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

  • Hotel Bookings: Cancellations made 14 days before arrival are refundable. Thereafter, cancellation fees apply.

  • Restaurant Reservations: For group bookings of 8 or more, cancellations less than 8 hours before the reservation may be charged a cancellation fee.

  • Events/Weddings: Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation terms are detailed in individual event agreements.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment, less applicable fees.

 

GUEST CONDUCT & USE OF FACILITIES

  • Guests are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards staff, other guests, and property.

  • Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove guests who cause disturbance, damage, or engage in unlawful behaviour.

 

ALCOHOL & AGE RESTRICTIONS

  • Alcohol will not be served to persons under the age of 18 in compliance with South African law.

  • We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest who appears intoxicated.

 

LIABILITY & INDEMNITY

  • Olijvenkraal accepts no liability for loss, injury, or damage to persons or property during visits or stays, unless caused by gross negligence on our part.

  • Guests agree to indemnify Olijvenkraal against claims arising from their actions or omissions.

 

FORCE MAJEURE
Olijvenkraal is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, floods, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, or power outages.

 

PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
We respect your privacy and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

 

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.

 

AMENDMENTS
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website and take effect immediately upon posting.
